Pollution today is at the worst level than dangerous...it is everywhere around you. As I was walking down the busy lane to my office..suddenly my eyes caught a hollow street light..and due to sheer anxiousness..i went nearby to it and found there were open passages equidistantly on the vertical pole of the street light.i inserted one of my fingers into the open passage..and found that the finger was filled with some dark soot...suddenly something ignited my mind..and i thought if at all..some creatures..or some bio-machines (of course their size should be such that they can fit into the pole)..and these can consume this dark soot...as the soot gets accumulated there..it will be a bit easy for the machine or creature to have a pounce on it...and also some feature can be added to it..such that can absorb the pollutants nearby it..using some sort of low pressure areas or anything like that..

I wonder if there is a form of algae or some other flora that could be sprayed in high soot areas that would eat the soot(?) The Sci-Fi solution might be a nano-bot "spray" with millions of little soot-movers. To the naked eye, it would look like creeping ooze while the nano-bots each picked up and moved individual bits of soot and carried them away. Of course, every time you mention nano-bots, some people suggest they could be corrupted into a weapon.

I think I might prefer not allowing the creation of the soot in the first place.
