Professional Football for the "Regular" guy....

What if there was a professional flag football league. One that gave the everyday guy or girl the chance to be a "professional" at a sport. Sure, you have to be "athletic" to be able to play any type of football, but this would give someone who is not a Joe Montana or a Michael Irvin a chance. And why not get paid for this as well i say, as we all know, professional athletes make WAY too much money for playing games that we all played as children. Yes, they are superior at these games but does that give them the right to make millions of dollars?

Sounds interesting. Why not?! But I've got to tell you, I've seen a lot of football, and I've never seen "everyday guy" earn his millions by jumping his tubby butt up in the air for a twelve foot Hail Mary in the end zone to tie the game like Sidney Rice did for the Vikings the other night or Adrian Peterson in the same game flying over a pile of players just to gain a few yards. These guys are massive Gladiators who have dedicated their lives to the game and making me jump out of my chair and cuss the Bears for taking the game in overtime. Sure, they're paid millions, but they're also injured in nearly every game one way of the other for our entertainment. Watch the movie Rollerball for an extreme example of that concept.
