Lotion towelettes
Posted 05/08/2008 by pete in Other | Submit idea in this category
So you know how hand lotions come in those dispensers similar to soft soap? Thats great...if you're home. But what if your out and you have dry hands that are in desperate need of hand cream? The best you can do is get one of those little tubes and keep it in your pocket, but the chances of that bursting are way too high.

How about a one-time use towelette that has lotion absorbed into it? Kind of like the ones they hand you at the restaurant after you finish eating.....same concept, except it's pre-dampened in hand lotion. Now if your out and your hands are dry, you just take out that package, tear it open, pull out the towelette and rub it around your hands to moisturize it.

Ah, man, that seems too commonsensible to ever be done by anybody.  Though you might jazz it up by having a well known lotion or scent on the towelette, sort of like "L'Elegance - for soft skin all the time."

Excellent idea! That not only solves some storage and convenience issues but also provides consistent "dosage" of lotion for each wipe. I'd patent that bad boy and then approach Jergens or Vasoline or like zboston3 suggests, one of the more up scale brands.

Then of course, you have to figure out where to toss the used towelette when you're done with it...You don't have that problem with a simple tube of lotion.
