Rep Counter
Posted 12/16/2009 by JustAThought in Other | Submit idea in this category
An annoying thing that happens when using weights to work out is losing count of your reps. It would be helpful to have some sort of device that you wear which counts the movements to a particular limb (the amount of times your arms curl, for example). It really wouldn't be too unlike a pedometer.

In the end, does it really matter if you lost count and did 14 reps instead of 10? Particularly if you're going to muscle failure.

how about putting a pedometer on the barbell
or how about adding velcro strips around your limbs and attaching a pedometer when you work that area.
I can count to 20. but I use a tally system for counts of sets
