It would be cool if there was something like this, a hand vacuum sized gadget that's battery operated, battery is able to be charged/recharged with outlet at home, and it would blow out a good amount of heat and easily melt the snow on a snowed over car. It sounds like a hair dryer i know lol, but hair dryers take too long, would need something that could generate more heat.. Do you think its worth coming up with something like that? Post your thoughts and comments. thanks!

Sounds like what you need is a cordless heat shrink gun or a butane heat shrink tubing gun (http://www.mbelectronics.com/view.aspx?id=226). Now I don't know from snow - I live in San Diego - but I have to wonder if applying 1,100 degrees to a frozen windshield wouldn't crack the glass from the rapid temperature differential(?)
