Lazy at the Track

 I was at the track the other night and realized how annoying it is to go back to the windows and cash in your winnings and/or place another bet after every single race.

Correct me if they already have this, but isn't it time for machines to be invented where we can place our bets through them? They can be located outside by the track (covered up during rain??) and by all the seats indoors. 

I know machines exist where you can cash out your winnings (i think), but it gets annoying having to go back and forth after every race to place your next bet.

Well I have seened mechanical tellers, sort of like ATM machines, at tracks where you could line up and place bets - don't recall if you could collect winnings.  But it sounds as if you want to go further, maybe to some sort of wifi ability where you could place your bets with your mobile phone or ebook and never leave your seat.



I don't think the tracks would give out the equipment to do that, but you might be able to do it with current technology and on internet betting sites.

Sounds like off-track betting to me - a comfy chair in a smoke-filled room somewhere in an Indian casino.
