Review and rate technical architecture/design

Building software systems can be pretty challenging especially given the various choices in technology, methodolgies and decisions (buy vs build). Would like to be able to go to a site where technocrats could submit there design and arguments in support of thier architecture. Then peers from the industry can review, comment rate and tag the design allowing others to learn and use these design ideas and best practises.

I am not a techy person where computers are concerned.  On the one hand, this sounds like a good idea - such a site might be be cool and hot in the field among people who knew what they were talking about.  And lord knows, I wish some sites would really test the programs before they dump them on their clients.  On the other hand, I wonder if product secretiveness would mean many people/companies would hesitate to put something up.  Despite some people's efforts, it's not a free for all to use and comment on world out there.

Sourceforge.net is about as close to that as you might get for open source software projects.
