Radar detector built into GPS
I'm a big fan of consolidating devices. I'll be glad to see the day when our phone's are also our digital media players (without sacrifice to battery life), all USB charging cables for cell phones are standardized and when our car GPS devices can double as a radar detector. Too many single-function gadgets out there, it's the year 2010 and it's time to consolidate.

FM Transmitter built into portable MP3 (PMP) Players
I've been using a plug-and-play FM Transmitter to pump my MP3 player's music through my car speakers for years, being that my car radio doesn't have any tape player or auxiliary inputs. With the new iPod and Zune's both being equipped with wireless access, and the Zune even having HD Radio, how hard would it be to put a simple FM Transmitter built into the devices so you could output the audio to any speaker set as long as it has a radio. (I realize the downside would be loss of income from docking stations and proprietary output cables)

First date chicken and chocolate
For a first date dinner, you want something that is obviously tasty, but that is relatively quick to make. If you whip up a dish quickly that tastes awesome, you instantly earn brownie points. Ingredients: 1 lb. thin, boneless chicken tenderloins or breasts, 2 cup flour, salt, pepper, 2 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp butter, 1 package chopped mushrooms, 1/2 cup Marsala wine Chicken Marsala is a great choice and only takes 20 mins. Just spice up a bowl of flour with some salt, pepper, and basil. Throw 2 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp butter into a pan and heat it. Dredge the chicken in the flour and throw it into into the pan to brown. When you flip the chicken, add the mushrooms on top and around. Finally, after 3 or 4 minutes cooking on each side, add the Marsala wine, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. This will steam the mushrooms. Serve this with some flavored rice and a vegetable you're all set. Red wine works best to accompany it. For dessert, go to the store and buy one of those containers of chocolate made for melting, probably in the candy aisle (ask someone who works there if you cant find it.) While you're there, pick up rice krispie treats (pre made), apples and strawberries. Cut all fruit and the treats into 1 inch squares. Put the chocolate into a glass bowl and sit this on a hot pot of water on the stove top. Voila - skewer them babies w/ a fork and dip. Ultimate first-date chocolate fondue, and we all know chocolate is a girl's second best friend, next to diamonds of course.

Dorm Security Cards
In my school, I noticed that security is a mess. To get into the typical dorm, anyone can walk right into the office and the security guard asks for an ID. Half the time the person doesn't even go to the school. I feel that wanding or scanning your school ID just to get into the main lobby security office would greatly reduce thefts and other problems.

Beer shots - need flavors!
A lot of people come into my bar looking for a new shot or mixed drink to get, and often default to beer when they can't figure something out. I'm looking to possibly make "beer shots", which would be maybe a vile of concentrated liquid that has a little bit of extra alcohol and flavors your beer when poured in. I've thought about flavors like Dr. Pepper and Lemon/Lime, but what other flavors of beer has anyone had that would taste great in a beer?
