Cornbread Dressing recipe idea
I came across this good idea for a Thanksgiving side dish. Makes about 16 to 18 servings. Ingredients * 1 cup butter or margarine, divided * 3 cups white cornmeal * 1 cup all-purpose flour * 2 tablespoons sugar * 2 teaspoons baking powder * 1 1/2 teaspoons salt * 1 teaspoon baking soda * 7 large eggs, divided * 3 cups buttermilk * 3 cups soft breadcrumbs * 2 medium onions, diced (2 cups) * 1 large bunch celery, diced (3 cups) * 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh sage* * 6 (10 1/2-ounce) cans condensed chicken broth, undiluted * 1 tablespoon pepper Preparation Place 1/2 cup butter in a 13- x 9-inch pan; heat in oven at 425° for 4 minutes. Combine cornmeal and next 5 ingredients; whisk in 3 eggs and buttermilk. Pour hot butter into batter, stirring until blended. Pour batter into pan. Bake at 425° for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Crumble cornbread into a large bowl; stir in breadcrumbs, and set aside. Melt remaining 1/2 cup butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add onions and celery, and saute until tender. Stir in sage, and saute 1 more minute. Stir vegetables, remaining 4 eggs, chicken broth, and pepper into cornbread mixture; pour evenly into 1 lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish and 1 lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish. Cover and chill 8 hours. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown. *1 tablespoon dried rubbed sage may be substituted for fresh sage. Andouille Sausage, Apple, and Pecan Dressing: Brown 3/4 pound diced andouille sausage in a skillet over medium heat; drain. Add sausage; 2 Granny Smith apples, chopped; and 2 cups chopped toasted pecans to dressing. Proceed as directed, baking 40 to 45 minutes or until done.

Cranberry / Apple / Sausage Stuffing recipe idea
A friend of mine sent this recipe to me and thought it'd be a great contribution to the Thanksgiving table: Ingredients * 8 tablespoons (1/2 cup or 1 stick) butter, unsalted * 2 medium onions, finely diced * 3 cups chopped celery, (about 6 large stalks) * 6 cups coarsely chopped leeks, (about 12) * 4 apples, peeled, cored and chopped * 1 pound breakfast sausage or Italian sausage, casings removed * 6 teaspoons poultry seasoning * 2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary leaves, (about 4 sprigs) * 2 teaspoons chopped fresh sage leaves, (about 6 leaves) * 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley leaves, (about 4 to 6 sprigs) * 2 cups dried cranberries * 1 box stuffing mix (not cornbread) (recommended: Pepperidge Farm) * 2 cups (1 pint) vegetable stock * Salt and freshly ground black pepper Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt the butter in a large skillet and saute the onions, celery, leeks, apples, and sausage, breaking up the sausage as you cook. After about 10 minutes, add the poultry seasoning, fresh herbs and dried cranberries. Add the dried stuffing mix and moisten with the vegetable stock. Season stuffing mix with salt and pepper, to taste. (I like the stuffing a little wetter - if you don't, just add less stock) Place into a buttered casserole dish and bake for 45 minutes. Next Recipe

Chiliean Miner Costume Idea
Now that the world has witnessed the safe rescue of the 33 Chilean Miners, what better way to celebrate than to dress as one of them for Halloween. The only 2 main elements of the costume is a hardhat with a light, and Oakley sunglasses. You can also drape the Chilean flag around your shoulders if you're able to get one.

Receipts by Email
I know the Apple store does this, and it's a good idea, but more and more stores should give receipts by email...maybe even an app that you can transfer through your phone. This way, you'll save on paper, and it'll be easier for you to find a receipt if you need to return something.

Other
Ron Burgundy costume idea
I really haven't seen any costumes from "Anchorman", and am kind of surprised as I think it would be a good idea for either a single or group costume. All you really need for Ron Burgandy is a burgandy colored suit which you can probably get at a thrift store, a matching tie, and a fake mustache. If your friends are in on it, you can go as the whole Channel 4 News Team from the movie.

Cardio and Weights routine
Anyone have any superset workout ideas that would incorporate cardio into your weight routine? If you run after your weight training, it feels like all your energy has already been spent and vice versa. Looking to do something to integrate both worlds using a superset routine. Maybe a set of inclined bench followed by reverse situps for your lower back (if you're doing opposing muscle supersets)? Something along the lines mixing cardio and weights into a single session....
