The Pedestrian GPS
We all get lost driving once in a while, which is when our GPS units kick in, but what about when we get lost walking? I know a lot of phones have already have GPS on them, but what about GPS watches that are geared towards sidewalk navigation as opposed to street nav?

Authentic News Network
Is it so hard to have a true "fair and balanced" news source? Fun experiment...next time there is a big news story such as the passing of the Health Care Reform Bill, switch back and forth from FoxNews to MSNBC. It's comical the way the two networks report the same story but with their own spin. I would say CNN is the closest news network without a political agenda, but why can't there be a middle of the road, non-republican, non-democratic, non-conservative, non-liberal, 24-hour news network that just tells the facts and not the talking points from their political party. People who exclusively watch MSNBC or FoxNews are not getting the full story, yet they think they are well informed on any topic if they are a regular viewer of Bill O'Reilly or Keith Olbermann. Granted, this doesn't always make for "interesting TV", but they can still have debates from various party members. Just don't exaggerate a story based on whether or not it makes your political party look good, and call it "news".

Olympic Bobsled Racing
So I was watching some footage of the Winter Olympics, and came across the bobsledding event. As I watched a few runs, I started to think of an alternate way to compete in this event. Rather than go down one at a time and check their timings, what if they build parallel tracks allowing 2 or 3 teams to simultaneously run the course? It would be exciting to watch a few bobsleds racing down 90mph against each other, and would also make for dramatic finishes. This wouldn't be too different from the snowboarding and ski races that already exist.

We The People
Our previous president got into a habit of admitting that he does not pay attention to approval ratings, and now, even the current president has a drop in his approval numbers at the time of this post, yet he also seems to be dusting it off his shoulders. While I understand that they want to stay focused on the job at hand and not be distracted by polls, shouldn't their approval ratings be a higher concern than they make it out to be? After all, we're the ones who elected (hired) them, yet in a way, they're telling us that they don't care what we think. Just doesn't seem right.

Zombieland costume - Tallahassee
Zombieland - great movie. How about dressing as one of the lead characters, Tallahassee? If you can get your hands on a snake-skin jacket, that would be great. Otherwise, a simple leather jacket would work. Put on a few leather ID necklaces and of course, the hat. You're now a character from Zombieland. For extra credit, see if you can find a removable #3 decal for your car door. (just make sure it comes off easily and would not ruin your paint)

Cardio and Weights routine
Anyone have any superset workout ideas that would incorporate cardio into your weight routine? If you run after your weight training, it feels like all your energy has already been spent and vice versa. Looking to do something to integrate both worlds using a superset routine. Maybe a set of inclined bench followed by reverse situps for your lower back (if you're doing opposing muscle supersets)? Something along the lines mixing cardio and weights into a single session....
