New School/ Entrepreneurship Incubator
I want to start a school that is less teacher driven and more student driven. Where we come together, still in a brick and mortar building, but instead of learning a specific topic we discuss ideas for a while and then branch off into groups and start employing specific skills we have to make them happen. A place where we go to learn what is relevant to our interests and our aspirations and at the same time apply them in the real world. Learning by doing. We may test out our ideas for a few weeks and then decide we don't like it and try something else. The idea is that it should be cheap, flexible, and fun to learn how to do whatever we want to do. Think business incubator meets university. We learn the necessary skills as we go, but we have tangible results.

I need product ideas for my non-profit school
I own a non-profit school as per my last post and since we don't charge for classes at the moment. I suspect we never will, since we want to change the way education is delivered, we need an alternate source of income. I want a product series that I can sell via our school in order to make money so we might expand. These are the parameters: needs to be a product, needs to be education related, related to ideas. One idea I came up with when a friend showed me something he made was a really cool, modern, minimal lighting fixture. Exposed lightbulb and all. Give me your ideas!

Idea School
I've an idea school. Here's a brief overview: Idea School helps students generate ideas. It helps them refine ideas. It helps them implement ideas. It connects them with resources they didn't know about. It eases and supports the ideation and building process. For the student, yes, but ultimately for the idea itself. Because the world we live in thrives on new ideas. If you are interested in the school and could see yourself as a prospective student, were it available in your area, what would interest you about it? What would it look like? What would be the most important factor/aspect of the school? The least? Thanks!

New School/ Entrepreneurship Incubator
I've been at odds with the education system for a while and have an idea to start a new school where we meet as groups and come up with some goals/ideas that we want to try in the real world. We will decide what we need to learn to get there and then apply as we're learning from different mediums like books, video, and experts that we may involve. The ideas I need are on how to take the first few steps. Where should I engage new students? How ought I bring people together?
