Morbid JFK and Jackie Onassis costume
My girlfriend decided to be Jackie Onassis this Halloween, so to compliment her, I bought a gray suit from the thrift store for cheap and a parted wig. I made a "vote for JFK" button just to avoid any confusion on who I was at the party. Finally, I got a bunch of fake blood, a wig, and a bit of vinyl halloween gore and made brains come out of the back of my head under the wig using some super glue and scissors to trim the wig hair in that spot. On my girlfriend, I dipped my fingers in the fake blood and flicked my fingers next to her face to make some blood-spray. I know the costume is in poor taste but it sure was a huge hit at the party, especially after a drink or two.

Movie Script: America gets invaded
It seems that destruction on the homeland, namely New York City, has been a popular theme for movies lately, from the latest Godzilla and its sister movie Cloverfield to The Day After Tomorrow and I Am Legend. It's entertaining, scary, and lets just say it works in the modern day Hollywood where original scripts are hard to come by as it is. Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is a video game that explores an Alternate History idea of "what if World War II went differently." Alternate History is great, and there's a ton of Alternate History books out there but not many movies. I'd be excited to see an Alternate History movie using modern CGI and other special effects to explore the idea of "What if America got invaded?" It could take place, like the video game, in the WWII error, or even modern day. Maybe a terrorist plot that went further than a BOOM followed by shock and awe. Maybe after the BOOM, they went a step further in deploying embedded foot soldiers to take advantage of our vulnerabilities after a catastrophe. A war on American soil hasn't really been fully explored by Hollywood yet - there's a lot of room for play there.

Cell Phones - Speech to Text
We already have speakerphones on almost all cell phones, and that prevents a lot of accidents. Speaker-texting, or speech to text, should be the next focus of cell phone manufacturers. People can't even text and walk, nevermind text and drive. They end up swerving, driving slow, or rolling through red lights. There's even a new law in my town concerning texting while driving. If cell phones could use the same speech recognition that computers use, then users could say their text message and just quickly glance at it for accuracy. How about the phone even reading incoming text messages aloud?

Thin, crispy pretzel recipe needed
I've made pretzels at home before, and boy do they blow up like balloons. My favorite snack has always been the thin, crispy pretzels like you would buy in a store. I need something hard and crunchy and about 1/3" - 1/2" in diameter. When I look at the ingredients in store-bought pretzels, they use only baking soda, not yeast. I wonder if that's the key... RECIPES NEEDED!
