Dinner & a Movie

Typical date night...dinner and a movie. So basically people have to find a decent restaurant, eat while checking your watch to see if you will make the movie on time, then get into their car and driving to the theater.

How about a movie theater that has a quality restaurant in the facility? It would save the hassle of making an extra trip from the restaurant to the theater. When you call and make dinner reservations, they can even reserve the tickets for the movie you'd like to see. For example, you call to make an 8pm dinner reservation and 2 tickets for the 9pm movie.

The place can appropriately be named "Dinner & a Movie".

While christmas shopping, I thought of this idea again, only while looking at giftcards. They had some combo gift cards that you could use at any of like 4 restaurants. They should have dinner & a movie gift cards that you can use at either a theater or one of 2 or 3 specific restaurants.

Yeah, but then you'll be hearing the clinging of forks and knives throughout the film. It's a good concept though...

At the theater by my house, there's two restaurants right inside of it. You can't buy tickets to the movie from the restaurant, but how bout actually showing the movie in the restaurant, i think that would be cool
